Marker only - see CONTRIBUTING.md. build()/package() are hand-written
(the upstream release tarball is a raw font-source tree with no build
system at all - "make: no target to make" - and contains ~8000 TTFs
across 200+ script-specific families, which is not what a desktop needs
as a fallback font stack) and gen-ports.py must never regenerate over
them from the manifest's generic make template.
